Introducing #NATS365

Behind our air traffic controllers NATS employs a large and diverse team of experts in their respective fields, ranging from aeromedics and engineers to human factors specialists and environmentalists. They all play an important role for NATS and the wider aviation industry.

And that’s on a global scale, because NATS isn’t just the UK’s leading provider of air traffic services – we are working in countries all over the world.

With the launch of #NATS365 today, Monday 1 September, we will be sharing a photo each day for a year to help provide a greater insight into various different aspects and areas of our business.  The photos will largely be aviation themed, and include views from air traffic control towers, aircraft at airports, on runways, engineers at work in all types of weather, and many other ATC related things!

Using the hashtag ‘#NATS365’ we will post a photo daily on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram, making it easy for people to view the images using their favourite social media website or app and share them.

We’re calling this #NATS365, not just because it will run for a year, but also because we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (366 days during leap years!). As our operation runs ’24x7x365′, we will of course be sharing photos over Bank Holidays and weekends – so please watch out for them.

We hope you enjoy our photos and look forward to hearing your feedback. Please feel free to retweet, like and share them. Why not share your own aviation related photos and let us know by using the hashtag ‘#NATS365’.
