2 December 2025Colleagues from both CGI and NATS rolled up their sleeves to support FoodCycle, a national charity tackling food waste, food poverty, and loneliness. Together, they delivered two evenings of community engagement that went far beyond simply cooking.

Across all sites, our colleagues have continued to show real commitment to supporting local causes, giving their time, creativity and energy to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
Giving something back | Quarterly update
19 August 2025Quarter one of 2025 has paved the way for more opportunities to give back to the people and communities where we live and work, in the UK and overseas. This update shines a light on our increasing number of supported charities, as well as the internal Community Fund, payroll giving scheme and outreach provided by several teams to help good causes.
Blue Skies students shine at JET graduations
11 July 2025Throughout the year we host groups of young people from Hampshire and Dorset participating in the Blue Skies programme – part of the Jon Egging Trust. The students join us to develop skills such as leadership, collaboration, resilience and communications; as well as more about NATS and the aviation industry as a whole. In June the focus is on celebration, as the students attend their graduation ceremonies to mark the end of a busy year on the programme. We’re always proud to support the students and see how they’ve flourished through Blue Skies; and we’ve been able to support in other ways, too…
Up against some tough competition, our HR Reward team won the ‘Best Benefits to Support Menopause’ award at the Employee Benefits Awards in London! The team also went on to win the judges’ final and most prestigious award of the year, the Grand Prix Award. These are incredible achievements which reflects the collaboration between our teams over the last few years to lead the change within the Aviation industry.
New wildlife garden for Swanwick Lakes
10 June 2025There have been several updates at the Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve recently, including the installation of a brand-new wildlife garden; a tranquil space where visitors can unwind in nature. It’s also an accessible, wheelchair-friendly area that everyone can enjoy, and has been a true testament to partnership working. In addition, we’re already seeing some of our native species of wildlife using the space, which we hope to increase year on year as the reserve thrives.

Helping hands for webbed feet
3 April 2025Springtime is breeding season for frogs and toads, when they return to the body of water they were spawned so they can mate and lay eggs. Unfortunately, getting back can be difficult, but thankfully the team at Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve were on hand recently to help out.
